This position will be based at CRS Office in Addis Ababa, with frequent field travels to partner managed food distribution sites and will oversee JEOP commodity risk and compliance monitoring; liaise with local authorities, consortium partners and UN agencies; and represent JEOP management in the field as appropriate.

Job Summary:
As a member of the JEOP team, you are responsible for organizing data related to last mile (FDP) commodity management risk and compliance monitoring. The incumbent will ensure FDP monitoring data is up to date, accurate and of high-quality. Will analyze, design, and present FDP monitoring data in a way that assists JEOP management make better decisions timely.
In liaison with Risk and Compliance Monitoring, Program Quality team, the JEOP Senior Management Team (SMT) and implementing partners, the incumbent will analyze, design, and present FDP monitoring data in a way that assists JEOP management make better decisions timely.
Your communication, coordination and management skills, and knowledge will ensure that risk and compliance monitoring activities apply best analytical and reporting practices and constantly work towards improving impact of the JEOP program benefits to the participants.
Roles and Responsibilities:
A combination of technical as well leadership skills
- Use related automated tools to extract FDP monitoring data from primary sources such as Comcare and powerBI.
- Data cleaning by removing corrupted data and fix any coding errors and related challenges.
- Develop and maintain CRM data system and databases to organize CRM data in an understandable format.
- Model data by performing data analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
- Analyze and evaluate JEOP cash transfer and commodity risk monitoring data following commodity management minimum standard. Proactively identify issues and concerns and use participatory processes to overcome operational obstacles.
- Review CRM and PDM reports, use relevant statistical tools to identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends in JEOP CRM and PDM datasets for improved FDP commodity management.
- Assign numerical values to essential FDP monitoring functions so that FDP performance can be assess and compared over periods of time.
- Prepare CRM reports for JEOP management stating patterns, and trends using monthly FDP monitoring data.
- Work with CRM, Operation, PQ teams and JEOP SMT to identify opportunities for FDP monitoring process improvement, propose system modifications, and recommend CRM data management strategies.
- Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly semi-annual, and annual) FDP monitoring analysis reports for JEOP management and implementing partners.
- Examine CRM data to recognize and identify patterns summarize the overall features of CRM data analysis.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of last-mile (FDP level) commodity management diversion, loss, and looting.
- Perform any other duty as assigned.
Consortium Capacity Support and Learning
- Champion learning with monitoring team and partners.
- Collaborate closely with JEOP Cash, Operation, Program Quality teams in identification of corrective actions to mitigate against Title II commodity mismanagement in compliance with USAID/BHA regulations, JEOP minimum standard, JEOP cash transfer SOP and other commodity management principles.
- Act as a key resource person in project design and proposal development, gap-filling and taking on personal development responsibility as needed.
- Support the identification of staff capacity and technical assistance needs of partner organizations and capacity strengthening and required interventions to support quality project implementation.
- Help identify, assess, and strengthen partnerships relevant to food assistance and food security, applying appropriate application of partnership concepts, tools, and approaches.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree or bachelor’s in statistics, computer science, information management, mathematics, economics, and related fields required.
- Minimum of 5 years for Master’s degree (or 8 years bachelor’s) of relevant field-based experience in data analysis and report preparation in light to moderately complex projects required, preferably with an international NGO.
- Additional experience may substitute for some education.
Personal Skills:
- Good Statistics knowledge and database management
- Experience with statistical analytic software’s
- Cleaning and preparing data, analyzing, and exploring data and visualizing data, simulating data analytics,
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Reports and dashboards, skill in the use of computers and software related to the job.
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with ability to make sound judgment.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with culturally diverse groups.

Required/Desired Foreign Language: Good command of English is required, and skill of any other local languages spoken in Ethiopia is a plus.
Travel Required: Involves extensive travel to partner activity sites up to 50% of time monthly.
Key Working Relationships:
Supervisory: No direct reports.
Internal: Works closely and in collaboration with Project Managers i/c risk and compliance monitoring, JEOP PQ team, and JEOP Operation unit, JEOP Cash team and the Country Program Supply Chain Department.
External: Working relationship with implementing partner and government stakeholders.
